The Ridgid 97457 VF6000 HEPA Rated Filter is a product designed for fume and smoke extractor filters. This filter is manufactured in MEXICO and is suitable for use with all Ridgid 6-gallon or larger wet/dry vacuums. The 97457 HEPA rated filter is Ridgid's highest filtration filter, made with HEPA rated material and is a genuine Ridgid product.
The 5-layer filter is a HEPA replacement filter that fits Ridgid 5-20 gallon dry and wet vacuums, providing efficient capture and removal of 99% of all particles 1/2 micron and larger from the air, making it perfect for achieving cleaner indoor air. The pleated design of the filter increases the surface area, resisting clogging and enabling efficient capture.
For convenient maintenance, the filter can be easily cleaned by washing it with water, drying it off, and then snapping it back onto the vacuum, ready for use again. The Qwik Lock filter fastening mechanism allows for easy installation and removal, with a simple push-down motion to install the filter into the vacuum and a pull-up motion to remove it.
